Because there is minimal trauma caused to a manipulated joint using the PPT method, more joints can be manipulated safely in one treatment session that was physiologically possible using gapping and other techniques. This ensures excellent results and a quicker recovery.

John Bayliss spent years of experimentation and research identifying  how and why osteopathic lesions are created.

Once this information was fully understood it was possible to originate and develop a completely new type of manipulation that would unwind the forces that create an osteopathic lesion rather take it further into lesion and wrench it apart.
